About me

I am a Ph.D student in musicology at Università Roma Tre and baroque violinist mainly interested in 18th century music.

My areas of specialization are musical philology and history of performance practice, mainly related to Italian baroque music.
I am currently working on a PRIN about Italian instrumental music and especially on Neapolitan instrumental music in the second half of 18th-century, and on Vincenzo Orgitano’s output in particular.

I am also interested in contemporary music, especially in experimental music theater.

I obtained my MA degree cum laude in 2023 at University of Pavia (Cremona), Department of Musicology and Cultural Heritage with a thesis about six of Tartini’s violin concertos, which critical edition is soon to be published in the “Complete Edition of the Musical Works by Giuseppe Tartini” by Bärenreiter-Verlaag.
